Young Dog Trainer's Summer Camp

Service Description

This camp is designed to teach kids how to care for and train their dog! It is a 3 week camp, participants MUST complete the first week but can opt out of the other 2 weeks. Week 1 will focus on responsible dog ownership, nutrition, and obedience. Week 2 will take what they learn about obedience and introduce them to AKC Rally (an obedience focused sport), the 3rd week will introduce them to AKC Agility (dogs run an obstacle course guided by their handler). At the end of the camp will be a show where the kids can enter a Showmanship class (judging the handler and dogs appearance), Rally class, and Agility class t earn ribbons! This camp is designed to help teach kids about responsible ownership and the world of dog sports. DoubleD dogs will be used for this camp. Price is per week. We hope to foster a healthy hobby for our local kids.
